First registration of the Chernobyl accident in the West by the gamma radiation monitoring stations in Sweden
Description
The following report gives a summary of the experience from a gamma radiation monitoring system after a nuclear accident. Results from some of the monitoring system sites are presented. The monitoring system functions as an early warning facility and as a helpful tool for following a situation after a significant release of radioactive debris has occurred. (au)
