Radioactive material - characteristics, marking and safe transport control

Radioactive material transport is discussed. Following general treatment of legal regulations in Czechoslovakia, the terms, quantities and definitions are explained used in the transport of such materials. Practical experience is reported with transport using different types of vehicles. Instructions are presented for behaviour in the event of accident of vehicle transporting radioactive material or the loss of radioactive material. (author)
