Modulation-spectroscopic investigations of defect centres in PbMoO4 crystals
Creators
Description
Investigations are made on PbMoO4 crystals which deal with point defects generated in the growing process. Photoluminescence and photoconductivity are used as investigation methods. Both the methods are based on the modulation of the exciting light. The modulation frequency is variable. The lifetimes of fluorescence, the half-width, shape, and intensity of the excitation bands are useful parameters which vary in dependence of the crystal stoichiometry and annealing history and give information about the structure of the defect centres in PbMoO4 crystals.
