Renin-aldosterone-sodium profiling in normal Filipinos. Pt. 1

Description
Plasma renin activity determination by radioimmunoassay is feasible, accurate, reproducible and reliable. This profiling technic is a very useful guide for more rational and precise treatment of the hypertensive state, but even when profiling cannot be done, statistical nomograms can be useful, just as well, as a guide in the treatment of hypertewnsion. Abstract (German)
Die radioimmunologische Bestimmung der Plasmareninaktivitaet ist durchfuehrbar, genau reproduzierbar und zuverlaessig. Die vorgestellte Profilerstellung ist eine nuetzliche Hilfe fuer eine rationale und genaue Behandlung der Hypertonie. Auch ohne das gesamte Profil sind die statistisch erarbeiteten Nomogramme eine nuetzliche Richtlinie bei der Hypertonietherapie. Ein Renin-Natrium Nomogramm wurde fuer die Bewohner der Philippinen erarbeitet. (orig.)Additional details
