Description
OHIO NUCLEAR sigma 410s used in a daily practice, ULTI MAT, and INFORMATEK, a data processing apparatus, were clinically applied, and the following results were obtained. 1. Clear images were obtained when it took about 10 minutes in a rotation (10 seconds in a time) to collect data. 2. In phantom experiments, defect images with the size of 10 mm were identified. 3. ULTI MAT was utilized as a recording apparatus, and the quality of images was the best when 16 views of spot film were taken on a single 8 x 10 film. From now on, we would like to use clinically RCT frequently and to increase the object organs. RCT by which tomograms of many slices from many directions can be obtained would be one of the important procedures for comprehensive diagnosis of images, because this method is not only a three dimensional imaging method but also a quantitative examination method.
