Curriculum for nuclear engineering and radiation in Kyushu University

Kyushu University has education programs of nuclear engineering. So far, the program contents are mainly for technological and theoretical programs. However, workers in nuclear engineering are expected to have wide knowledge of nuclear engineering including latest technology of nuclear engineering, regulation and management of facilities to satisfy safety requirements. Kyushu University has started new program in a field of nuclear engineering. The new program covers wide area of nuclear engineering including reactor engineering, material engineering, radiation monitoring, regulation and management of facilities, etc.. The paper presents outline of new program and present status of it. (author)
