Learning from experience and errors but staying at the present

Description

Full text: It is well known that the radiation protection in the medical field is an actual, relevant, broad and rather complex working area. Many recent ICRP, IAEA etc. reports and books can support this. Working in a big hospital as medical physicist and radiation protection responsible is not easy but also not bored at all. This work tries to think about direct or near experiences and feeling collected during more than 30 years of work in this field. One significant problem is that, in general, we were more expert in technical than social aspects because nobody told us very much about the second. At the present we have to be well awake to follow the quick and continuous changes in the technology but the society is also changing. Because this, the experience is good but not enough. Conduct code, harmonization, practical guides to manage problems related with magistrates, media, hospital security committees, workers, public, patients and families should be actualized and or developed without forgetting that each situation has his own treatment.
