Measurement system for spectroscopic investigations of nuclei far from the β-stability band
Description
The construction principles and characteristics are given for a number of spectrometers intended for measurements of γ-, β- and e--radiation arising at the decay of short-lived isotopes produced using the synchrocyclotron. Semiconductor and scintillation detectors are used to detect the radiation. The spectra are measured both in one dimensional and in multidimensional modes. The developed system of programs allows the rapid preliminary data processing and the optimization of the experimental setup on-line with a small computer
