Description
Elemental analysis holds an important role for inter disciplinary users of geological sciences, biological and environmental sciences. In comparison to other elemental analysis techniques like PIXE and NAA, EDXRF is remarkably popular as it is less costly and easy to handle. EDXRF system consists of an xray source (radioactive source or x-ray generator), x-ray detector and a data acquisition system. Available methods for EDXRF are alpha co-efficient method and Fundamental Parameter Method (FPM)
