Synthesis and crystal structure of cesium dysprosium nitrate Cs[Dy(NO3)4(H2O)2]·H2O

Description
X-ray investigation of Cs[Dy(NO3)4(H2O)2]·H2O crystals synthesized from aqueous solution, using isothermal solvent evaporation, has been carried out. The monoclinic cell parameters are the following: a=10.859(3), b=11.217(4), c=11.887(3) A, γ=108.55(2) deg, V=1372.6 A3, ρclcd=2,86 g/cm3 for Z=4, sp.gr P21/n. The structure is based on rare earth complexes, bound into a three-dimensional lattice by alkali metal cations and hydrogen bonds
