Evaluation of neutron-induced reaction cross-sections for uranium isotopes at energies upto 100 MeV

Description
Fission, (n,xn), as well as (n,pxn) reaction cross-sections for uranium nuclei with mass numbers from 232 to 238 at primary neutrons energies from 1 up to 100 MeV were evaluated, using empirical ratios of the neutron and fission channel widths. A modified version of the code ALICE was used for the numerical calculations. The obtained cross-sections are compared with data from the BROND-2, JENDL-3, and ENDF/B-VI libraries as well as with available experimental data and calculated results obtained from the intranuclear cascade evaporation model. Abstract (German)
Wirkungsquerschnitte fuer die Spaltung sowie fuer (n,xn)-und (n,pxn)-Reaktionen von Urankernen mit Massenzahlen von 232 bis 237 wurden fuer Energien des primaeren Neutrons von 1 bis 100 MeV berechnet. Dabei wurden empirische Werte der Verhaeltnisse der Kanalbreiten fuer Neutronenemission und Spaltung verwendet. Das Rechenprogramm war eine modifizierte Version des Codes ALICE. Die erhaltenen Wirkungsquerschnitte werden mit Daten aus den Programmbibliotheken BROND-2, JENLL-3 und ENDF/B-VI, mit vorhandenen experimentellen Werten wie auch mit auf der Basis des Kaskadenverdampfungsmodells erhaltenen Werten verglichen.
