Description

The paper gives a chronological survey on the development of toll enrichment which has until now been characterized by an USAEC enrichment monopoly. The development and background of the necessary contracts and agreements are described. The characteristics of the toll enrichment agreements with ERDA, URENCO, EURODIF, and TECHSNAB-Export are discussed. Finally, an outlook is given on the future possibilities of natural uranium supply. (UA/AK)

Abstract (German)

Es wird eine chronologische Uebersicht ueber die Entwicklung der Lohnanreicherung gegeben, die bisher gekennzeichnet war durch das Anreicherungsmonopol der USAEC. Entwicklung und Hintergrund der dafuer notwendigen Vertraege werden beschrieben. Es werden die Besonderheiten der verschiedenen Vertraege zur Lohnanreicherung mit ERDA, URENCO, EURODIF und TECHSNAB-Export diskutiert. Abschliessend wird ein Ausblick auf die Moeglichkeiten der zukuenftigen Versorgung mit angereichertem Uran gegeben. (UA)
