Regge behaviour of the 6-point function and the new trajectories
Description
The Veneziano model two-Reggeon-two-particle amplitude is derived and its Regge limit is studied. Its dependence on the Gram determinant constraint is discussed and it is shown that the property of exhibiting unusual multi-Regge behaviour is not restricted to the Veneziano model but is to be expected in most models with a reasonable form of the two-Reggeon-two-particle amplitude. In the Veneziano model, the cancellation of all nonsense wrong signature poles of the usual multi-Regge term by the contributions of successive daughters of new trajectories is exhibited. (Auth.)
