Channel-type nuclear reactor with boiling coolant
Description
A device for fuel assembly cooling at the initial moment after the loss of flow in a channel-type RBMK boiling reactor is described. The assembly is closed with water stored in two vessels located one above another in the channel. By gravity the water pours over to the lower vessel through the siphon and then - to the assembly. The device allows to decrease the fuel temperature at the initial movement of accident down to 100 deg C
