Collision studies with a single molecular beam
Description
Collision rates of some excited-state processes can be studied at low effective temperatures with a single atomic or molecular beam. Effects dependent on the orientation of the collision axis can also be observed in resonant collisions. Useful relative-velocity distributions are given. (author)
