Quenched proton-neutron coupling in h11/2 high spin states of 128Ba

Description
Analyzing experimental E2-branching ratios in terms of a three level model coupling matrix elements between the 10+ states of the ground band and the neutron and proton S-bands are estimated. The coupling matrix element between the two S-bands is found to be less than about 3 keV, which upper limit includes the errors. (orig.)
