Description

The description is given of a nuclear reactor assembly comprising an open and elongated vertical parallele piped case containing a bundle of parallel fuel pins and at the upper end a sleeve extending the case. This sleeve is thicker internally than the case to ensure the upper neutron protection of the assembly. The sleeve is connected to the end of the case by a disconnectable connection enabling them to be separated

On decrit un assemblage pour reacteur nucleaire, comportant un boitier parallelepipedique ouvert et allonge, a axe vertical, contenant un faisceau d'aiguilles combustibles paralleles et a son extremite superieure un manchon prolongeant le boitier. Ce manchon presente vers l'interieur une epaisseur plus importante que celle du boitier pour assurer la protection neutronique superieure de l'assemblage. Le manchon est relie a l'extremite du boitier par un dispositif de liaison deconnectable, permettant leur separation
