Radiation induced polymerisation of methacrylamide in aqueous solution (Preprint No. RC.25)
Creators
- 1. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay (India). Chemistry Div.
Description
Gamma radiation induced polymerisation of methacrylamide in aqueous solution was found to be free radical initiated. Constant molecular weight polymer could be obtained with yield ∼ 90 per cent and an average molecular weight of ∼ 105. The polymer was found to contain pendant hydroxyl groups. (author)
