Some correlation characteristics of multiplicity distributions of secondary charged particles produced in interactions of relativistic nuclei

  • 1. Institute of High Energy Physics of Tbilisi State University

Description

Correlations of several moments of the multiplicity distributions of various secondary charged particles with the number of strongly ionizing particles n/sub g/ are in investigated on the basis of experimental data obtained by means of the two-meter propane bubble chamber at the High Energy Laboratory, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, equipped with internal Ta plates and irradiated by relativistic nuclei p, d, He, and C in the momentum interval 1--10 GeV/c per nucleon. The results are compared with the predictions of several theoretical models
