Polarization characteristics of the radiation of ions formed during dielectronic recombination

  • 1. St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics, and Optics, St. Petersburg, 199101 (Russian Federation)

Description

The polarization characteristics of the radiation emitted during dielectronic recombination of free plasma electrons are considered. It is shown that taking into account the correlation between the orders of the angular momenta of a doubly excited state of an ion leads to a significant difference in the dependence of the radiation polarization on the plasma parameters
