Influence of austenite high temperature deformation on structure and ageing kinetics of the N12K7M5TYu maraging steel

Description
The effects of high temperature austenite deformation and martensite ageing on the structure and ageing kinetics of high-strength maraging N12K7M5TYu steel are investigated by the methods of electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, measurements of electric resistance, hardness and other mechanical properties. The consequence of structural transformations in the steel is stated. It is shown, that high temperature working accelerates martensite ageing. Considered is the effect of structural transformations after such working and ageing on mechanical properties
