The Japan experience on decommissioning a demonstration power reactor

Description
Complex of works on decommissioning the JPDR reactor is successfully accomplished. The power plant territory, where the reactor was located is brought to the lawn. The personnel got insignificant dose loads. The volume of radioactive wastes formed equaled 3770 t. Necessary technology and technical means applicable for decommissioning other outdated nuclear reactors in Japan are created
