Helium influence on mechanical properties of Cr15Mn14 steel which contain α'-martensitic phase
Description
The characteristics of strength and ductility at the temperature range 20-900 deg. C for Cr15Mn14 chromium-manganese steel after cold deformation and irradiated by alpha-particles were determined. It is shown, that deformations by 20 and 40 % induce the γ→α' transformation and improve mechanical properties of steel at high temperatures. At the same time the effect of high-temperature embrittlement of steel samples after alpha-particle uniform implantation in volume up to the concentration of 10-3 He, is kept. (author)
