The introduction of the PWR into the UK
Description
The Sizewell 'B' PWR project has passed another milestone. We have now seen the end of the Public Inquiry hearing and the Inspector is now preparing his report for the Secretary of State. We cannot predict when this will be completed and it may be that the submission of the Sizewell Inspector's report will be followed by a Parliamentary debate prior to the Government's decision, pushing the final decision into 1986. In this presentation I will bring you up to date on the organisational developments for the introduction of the PWR into the UK, should consent be given to go ahead, comment on the current state of contracts, and report on the progress to date. (April 1985) (author)
