Equipment for radiometric determination of moisture content

Description
The principle is described of an equipment for radiometric determination of material moisture while suppressing the effect of local inhomogeneities. The equipment consists of a fast neutron source and of at least two slow neutron detectors placed symmetrically around the fast neutron source in protective tubes in a container. The detector outputs are connected to a common evaluation unit output. (B.S.)
