Application of the algebraic cluster model to light nuclei

Description

The applicability of the vibron model to nuclear cluster systems is discussed. Special emphases are placed on the Pauli principle and the threshold energy of cluster states. For guiding and testing purposes the 16O + α system is considered. (author)
