LEADING ABSTRACT. This book contains the proceedings of the bi-annual Symposium on Nuclear Energy organized by Romanian Nuclear Energy Association (AREN) in cooperation with Polytechnic University of Bucharest. The Symposium was held on 20-21 October 1995 in Bucharest. It was organized in three sections: Section A, Nuclear Safety (19 communications); Section B, QA/QC in NPP - Major Safety Factor (19 communications); Section C, Nuclear Safety Equipment and Systems in NPP (25 communications)
