Application of electron accelerators in the processes of purification of gas and liquid-phase systems

Description

A study has been carried out of the removal of hydrogen from chlorine and the pre-purification of waste containing natural and synthetic surfactans and frothing agents by the use of electron accelerators. Schematic diagrams of laboratory plants and their individual subassemblies are presented. The kinetics of the radiation removal of hydrogen from chlorine in a wide range of dose rates has been studied and an investigation of the kinetics of the radiation pre-purification of waste water containing surfactans has been carried out. A relationship between the reaction rate and the radio-chemical yield, on the one hand, and the dose rate for mixtures of H2 + Cl2, on the other hand has been established
