Beam-plasma interaction under injection of an electron beam into symmetrically open plasma system

Description
Strong influence of the potential of the electron beam collector on the intensity of upper hybrid waves excited in the symmetrically opened plasma system is found and investigated in that system shot through by an electron beam. It is shown that the oscillation of plasma electrons in the potential well formed in the system is necessary, in principle, for the generation of the mentioned waves in such systems. The qualitative model of the mechanism causing the observed effect is suggested
