Simple analysis of Sanmen series AP1000 nuclear power plant radwaste management technical characteristics

Description
In the operation of nuclear power plant, radwaste are generated inevitably. To reduce the generation, various technical and managerial measures are taken. By adopting simplified system designs, advanced radwaste treatment technologies, and digital radiation monitoring, AP1000 nuclear power plant minimizes the amount of radwaste generated, decreases the release of radioactivity. This paper introduces the technical characteristics of sanmen series AP1000 nuclear power plant radwaste management, and analyzes its advantages and disadvantages briefly. (authors)
