Experimental study of the α-12C elastic scattering

Description
Elastic scattering of alpha-particles from 12C has been experimentally studied for 16O excitation energies between 9.4 and 14.7 MeV. The phase shifts obtained from angular distribution have been analysed in terms of multichannel multilevel R-matrix formalism. Ambiguities arising from this procedure are discussed
