Description
The rule establishes regulations based on Best Available Technology (BAT) that will result in reasonable progress toward the goal of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to eliminate the discharge of all pollutants. At a minimum, BAT represents the best economically achievable performance in the industrial category or subcategory. The rule also establishes requirements based on Best Conventional Technology (BCT). In addition, the rule establishes New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) based on the best demonstrated control technology
