Isotopic dating methods in nuclear raw materials prospecting
Description
Among the geological methods for the prediction of and prospecting for radioactive minerals, isotopic dating methods determine a most important prospecting parameter - the period of ore formation. In the case of a number of Palaeozoic hydrothermal uranium deposits, it has been established that the duration of ore formation is long (100-160 million years) and that the multi-stage ore-forming process has a complex polychronal nature, the age intervals between the successive stages varying from 15-30 to 100 million years.
