Description
The self-inductive transparency effect in the two-level medium for the optical pulses outside the frames of the slow envelopes approximation is studied within the frames of the integrable system of the revolution equations. The corresponding modification of the apparatus of the backscattering problem method, whereby the model soliton solutions were obtained, is presented. The comparison of the characteristics of the optical solitons with the linear and circular polarization, including the case of their evolution in the laser medium, is carried out. The effect of the additional levels in the adiabatic approximation is considered with the purpose of studying the limits of the two-level model applicability
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
