Technical parameters of intensifying screens

Description
The influence of phosphor parameters, reflector and binding material on definition and intensifying action of screens was investigated. Depending on the demanded intensification factor a variation of these parameters leads to improved definition. The different conversion efficiency of screens for scattered radiation and the influence of screen and phosphor parameters on screen noise must be taken into account. (author)
