Dissertation with a view to obtain the qualification to supervise researches

After an overview of his academic and hospital curriculum, and a chronological presentation of research and hospital activities, the author proposes synthetic presentations of his main research works: cytogenetics of tumoral relapses of irradiated glial tumours, study of circulating cells in prostate cancers, clinical works (prostate brachytherapy, glial tumours, anal canal cancer). Then, he presents different research projects: on radio-induced tumours, development of an innovative irradiation method to cure localised prostatic adenomas, medical-economic assessment of brachytherapy of prostate localised cancer in comparison with prostatectomy and external radiotherapy. Other works and perspectives regarding radio-induced tumours, prostate cancer, and the brain tumour project are discussed
