Recent advances toward the site specific and stable labeling of antibodies with technetium-99m [Tc-99m] via new facile methodologies will be reviewed. Results will be discussed with respect to labeling efficiency, immunoreactivity, stability and in vivo properties. Representative examples of Tc-99m monoclonal antibodies will be examined as potential diagnostic imaging agents
