Ionising Radiation Regulations: how to apply them in the department
Description
The incorporation of Ionising Regulations 1985 into practical applications at an operational level in diagnostic X-ray imaging is discussed. In particular, Regulations 8, 9 and 11 are referred to which are concerned with the designation of controlled and supervised areas, the designation of classified workers, and local rules, supervision and radiation protection supervisors.
