Introduction of disperse carbides and oxides in tungsten produced by powder metallurgical technique and low-temperature properties of alloys
Description
Mechanical properties and fracture mode in the temperature interval of ductile-brittle transition of tungsten alloys, produced by powder metallurgical technique into which carbides (HfC) and oxides (G2O3, HfO2) were introduced and which were deoxidized with carbon and boron accordingly, are investigated. The strength of deformed alloys with carbides in all the temperature interval analysed (20-500 deg C) is higher then of those with oxides mainly because of more intensive strain hardening of these alloys
