Micronucleus formation and its sustained action in bone marrow cells induced by absorption dose of 134Cs in skeleton
Description
Sustained effect of micronucleus formation in bone marrow cells induced by absorption dose of 134Cs in skeleton was studied. The results indicated that a fitted equation to describe the retention of 134Cs in bone marrow cells is obtained as follows: R(t) = 0.0029e-0.121t. Where the T1/2 in skeleton is 5.73d. Experimental results showed that obvious increase of micronucleus formation could be induced by 134Cs with a threshold dose as 0.93 kBq/g. The relations between injected dose (X, kBq/g) and micronucleus formation rates (Y, %) can be expressed by an power function Y = 0.246 X0.307. In accordance with the peculiarity of internal exposure with 134Cs, sustained effect of micronucleus formation in bone marrow cells may continued to 47 days
