Description
In this work monoclinic distortion of CeNi2Sn2 and LaNi2Sn2 were investigated in the temperature range between 8-300 K. The lattice parameters and volume of CeNi2Sn2 show an anomalous volume increment. ΔV=V(LaNi2Sn2)-V(CeNi2Sn2) as a function of T is proportional to the resistivity increment Δρ=ρ(CeNi2Sn2)-ρ(LaNi2Sn2). ((orig.))
