Analysis on metallogenic conditions of sandstone-type uranium deposits at eastern margin of Chaidam basin
Description
The formation conditions of interlayer oxidation zone sandstone-type uranium deposit in the eastern part of Chaidam basin are analysed, such as the tectonic evolution, the characteristics of sedimentation and petro-geochemical characteristics, the regional hydrogeological conditions, as well as epigenetic reworking of the sedimentary cover. The author comes to a conclusion that the study area is favorable for the formation of interlayer oxidation zone sandstone-type uranium mineralization, and the study area is an area worthy of further prospecting and investigation
