Investigation into evaporation of aluminium impurities from tantalum and niobium by atomic absorption method
Creators
Description
The atomic absorption spectroscopic method was used to investigate the thermodynamic and kinetic characteristics of the aluminium evaporation from tantalum and niobium, where it is present as an impurity (10-2-10-3 at %). The evaporation was conducted in the argon atmosphere. The type of the temperature dependence of the aluminium activity coefficients is considered. The determination method of the diffusion coefficients of the impurity elements in the solid phase, based on the processing of the kinetic evaporation curves is suggested
