Description
Main characteristics (multiplicities, transverse momentum distributions, correlations in the transversal plane) of fragments from the projectile nucleus in inelastic collisions of relativistic 12C nucleus in nuclear equlsions are presented. Effects due to transverse motion of the fragment-producing nucleus and its angular momentum are detected. A number of common theoretical approaches to fragmentation processes in relativistic nuclei are analysed in a qualitative and critical way
