Position-sensitive ionization chamber for a time-of-flight spectrometer
Description
The construction and working principles of a position sensitive ionization chamber are described, which is used for the time-of-flight spectrometer DEMAS. The whole set-up gives information on the energy, the time-of-flight and the coordinates of a detected HI-reaction product. Also the differential energy lost for Z-identification can be determined. The results for each parameter are given. (author)
