Nuclear reaction cross sections studied with heavy-ion beams

Description

Reaction cross sections for stable and unstable nuclei 8Li, 8B, 9Be, 10B, 14B, 16N, and 16O on CH2, Be, C and Al targets have been measured at 30A-360A MeV in order to study the nucleon density distributions and nuclear structures in these nuclei. The transmission method was employed using plastic, PPAC, Si, NaI(Tl), CsI(Na), and CsI(Tl) counters. (author)
