Velocity distribution and multiple galaxy clusters

Description

Radial velocity distribution of galaxy clusters is investigated. It is shown that the radial velocity distribution for the galaxy clusters may be described by the lognormal law. The statistical method for determination of the mean multiplicity of the clusters is proposed. Random deviations of observed numbers of the clusters from the theoretical ones in various intervals of velocities are investigated. The observational data are in agreement with the suggestion that multiple clusters are absent
