Calculations of the enthalpies of formation of layered perovskite-like ferroelectrics Am-n+1BinBmO3m+3 from simple oxides

Description
The enthalpies of 34 layered perovskite-like Am-n+1BinBmO3m+3-type compounds formation from simple oxides, wherein A = alkali, alkaline earth or rare earth metal; B = Ti4+, Nb5+, Ta5+, Fe3+ are calculated. The calculations are carried out through the approximated methods with an account of the polyhedral structure, the cations coordination change enthalpies and the perovskite fragment tolerant factors. It is shown that all the studied compounds are formed from the simple oxides by the exothermic reactions

Рассчитаны энтальпии образования 34 слоистых перовскитоподобных соединений типа Am-n+1BinBmO3m+3, где A = щелочной, щелочноземельный или редкоземельный металл; B = Ti4+, Nb5+, Ta5+, Fe3+, из простых оксидов. Расчеты проведены приблеженными методами с учетом полиэдрического строения, энтальпий изменения координации катионов и толерантных факторов перовскитного фрагмента.
