Numerical simulation of self-modulation processes in the bunching section of a linear electron accelerator with ring feedback. II

Description

Results are presented from a theoretical investigation of the unsteady dynamics of the acceleration of electron beams in a bunching section with external feedback. A theoretical model is proposed which describes to good accuracy the self-modulation effects obtained experimentally at the universal injector complex of the LUE-300 linear electron accelerator at the Physicotechnical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, Kharkov
