Concentric cumulation on a microsphere of D-T of fast ions generated by laser radiation
Description
The cumulation parameters of fast ions generated by lasers on the inner surface of a D-T spherical shell and acting on a D-T ball located at the centre. The ions subject to concentric cumulation and acting on the D-T ball compress, by adsorption, the system composed of the ions and the D-T ball. If the implosion speed of fast ions is of some 1.5.108 cm/s, we obtain K >1.5.105 and T approximately 10 keV, which is a compression and a temperature exceeding the critical values for thermonuclear microfusion (and approaching those for chain reaction of fusion).
